Apple’s Touch Bar — a thin screen that replaces the function keys on the new MacBrook Pro — can’t compete with the multitouch screen found on iPads and Windows laptops, but it has a lot more promise than you might expect.

CNET Link: Apple MacBook Pro with Touch Bar review

Not as many people as I thought are talking about the new MacBook Pro with touch bar. It is definitely a cool feature they added to the computer, but of course the price reflects it. I expected it to be much more popular with the die hard Apple fans around here. Surprisingly I’ve heard more talk about Apple discontinuing the basic 13″ MacBook Pro than the features of the new one.

Just like iOS 10 last week Apple has released their new computer OS this week. OSX 10.12 Sierra is available for download. With only having it for a short time the only difference I have noticed is they have added Siri to the OS. Still checking it out. Apple’s official link to the OS is above!

Comcast has finally made a cable MODEM that can reach speeds over 1Gbps. They have accomplished this in the Philadelphia area, where their corp HQ is located, using the brand new DOCSIS 3.1 system. They are still in the testing phase of these new cable speeds. Soon they hope to release this to the large city markets and hopefully to all Comcast areas. I do not see this coming to North West CT anytime soon. This breakthrough means Comcast can finally compete with products like Verizon FIOS, AT&T GigaPower and Google Fiber! See the link below for more info.
